About
the Center
The
Center was established in 1986 by Dr. Krinos Trokoudes, MD,
FRCP(c). He is a specialist in Endocrinology and Reproductive
Medicine. He graduated from the Athens University Medical
School. He trained at University of Toronto, Canada where he
did research in Endocrinology and reproduction. He served as
an Assistant professor there, before coming to Cyprus.

The
Center is the first in Greece & Cyprus to achieve
pregnancies with:
GIFT
ZIFT
OVUM
DONATION
ICSI
TESA
It
was the first IVF Center worldwide to have achieved pregnancy in
Globozoospermia (see article published in the medical journal
“Human Reproduction”, 1995, Vol. 10, w. 4, pp. 880-882--Case
Report).
According
to the Guinness Book of Records our Center achieved a
pregnancy after IVF in the oldest mother in the world 1992 and
1993. The woman
at that time was 49 years and 54 days old.
